Theatre 1 Dance Classes include Ballet, Tap & Contemporary Modern Jazz genres following the IDTA syllabus Rosette, Preparatory grade work. For students aged 4 - 7 years students have the opportunity to take IDTA Ballet exams once a year and move up to Theatre 2 once preparatory ballet exam is complete or dancer is turning 8.

Theatre 2 Dance Classes include Ballet, Tap & Contemporary Modern Jazz genres following the IDTA syllabus Primary - Grade 2 grade work. For students aged 7 - 11 years students have the opportunity to take IDTA Ballet exams once a year and move up to Theatre 3 once Grade 2 ballet exam is complete or dancer is turning 12.

Theatre 3 dance students can study dance genres separately now they've reached an age they know what they enjoy students can study Ballet, Tap & Contemporary Modern Jazz genres following the IDTA syllabus Grade 3 - Intermediate grade work. For students aged 11 - 16years students have the opportunity to take IDTA Ballet exams once a year and once Intermediate ballet exam is complete dancers can move onto teacher training or if just dancing for fun can join our adult dance classes.

HDAD Acrobatics classes follow the IDTA syllabus starting with rosettes up to Grade 5. With inspiration from gymnastic floor work, this dance style incorporates acrobatic movement into elegant flowing routines, with creative, expressive lifts and poses. Requiring strength, flexibility and technique. Our Advance Acro class spends more time focusing on tumbling & balancing tricks and is a great edition to our weekly acrobatic classes. Each student progresses at their own pace.

1-1 sessions personalised to your goals, work on exam work, flexibility, technique, competition work. Also used to set & rehearse festival solos students wishing to compete solos in our festival team require a regular 1-1 session

Our dance class programme designed for a dancers first steps a parent & toddler class taking students from 18months - 4 years, class includes basics ballet, movement and imagination. This is really great class to bond with your little one and their teacher and start your dancing journey with stickers guaranteed at every session!

HDAD we offer our students the opportunity to compete at dance competitions throughout the year, students need to take classes in ballet & modern and have a good attendance and availability to commit to the festival weekends. Students should always be striving to try their best it can be so rewarding for students & parents our practise sessions run on Tuesdays 4:00pm - 4:45pm Under 11's and 5:15pm - 6:00pm Over 11's. Our Festival sessions to learn & rehearse duets, trios & troupe dances. For our dancers taking their dancing to the next level we have our combined festival session on

A fun and friendly beginners/improvers tap group for adults. A good way to keep fit, make new friends you’ll learn the basics of tap dance and work your way up to more advanced steps and combinations No tap shoes needed to start with.

This class is great for a beginner dancer follows the IDTA sllyabus rosettes, preparatory, primary grade work in Ballet, Tap, Modern & Acro. Suitable for ages 4-8years students can move up to Theatre 2 once completed their Primary Ballet exam. This is a great class for those wanting to explore different styles without too much commitment.

HDAD Ballet Classes follow the IDTA syllabus starting with rosettes up to intermediate level. Students can progress through the grade work just for fun or with the option to take part in our annual exam session for committed students. Ballet has a technique which is the foundation of all dance, students who are 11 & over and have a strong technical foundation include pre-pointe & pointe work into their classes. Students are required to take ballet classes if wanting to compete in our festival team.
HDAD Tap Classes follow the IDTA syllabus starting with rosettes up to intermediate level. Our Tap Classes also includes free work to learn combinations for fun to not just be limited to syllabus work. A gentle, rhythmical and enjoyable way to keep fit!
HDAD Contemporary Modern Jazz follow the IDTA syllabus starting with rosettes up to intermediate level. You will learn to develop many different movements reaching to a broad choice of varying rhythms and musical styles. Classes are structured to begin to prepare the physical strength and flexibility required to demonstrate emotion through interpretation of any musical genre. We also do lots of free work to focus on technique required for turns, pirouettes, leaps & kicks.
